Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer with AWS experience to join our team and help build scalable, high-performance production systems.

In this role, you will contribute across the stack, shaping frontend experiences with TypeScript and React and building robust backend services on the JVM or shared TypeScript platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in architectural decisions to support our evolving platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack web engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React with performance optimization.
• Backend experience in Kotlin or Java on the JVM.
• Experience with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Experience with AWS, containers, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production-ready full-stack web applications.
• Build accessible UIs using TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Implement and maintain backend services on JVM or TypeScript platform.
• Design data models across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Develop and integrate APIs using gRPC, protobuf, HTTP, and REST.
• Deploy and operate applications on AWS using containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply caching, queuing, and eventual-consistency strategies.
• Maintain testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical direction.
