Gpv Group is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Mexico. You will install, configure, and maintain servers and networking gear, including VMware, Windows Server, Citrix and Cisco equipment. You will support end users and participate in testing new equipment.

You will apply OS patches, manage backups, monitor systems, and ensure compliance with ISO-quality standards. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related fields.
• 5 years of experience in a similar position (Software and hardware).
• Knowledge of using, installing and troubleshooting PC, Server, Network.
• Including Firewall, VM-ware, Cisco, Windows Server, Terminal Services, and Citrix.

Responsabilidades

• Set up new test equipment and participate in hardware/software debugging.
• Train new users and install/rebuild servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, and storage.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades; configure/add new services as necessary.

Be a part of setting up new test equipment.
HW & SW debugging on test equipment.

Training newUser
I nstall new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.

Handle backup, restore, Antivirus, Monitoring, adaption of IT-controls.

Create, change, and delete user accounts.

Repair and recover from hardware or software and Network failures.

Always strictly complied with Company’s management systems and regulations.

General knowledge of the

ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management Systems standards

ISO 45001:2015 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

ISO 13485:2016 - Quality Management Systems - Medical Devices

High leadership capacity, personnel management and strict confidentiality in the information handled by the department.

Compliance with the required KPIS for IT department.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related fields.
5 years of experience in a similar position (Software and hardware).

Knowledge of using, installing and troubleshooting PC, Server, Network

Including Firewall, VM-ware, Cisco, Windows Server, Terminal Services, and Citrix.

Process good skills in providing Technical Support to end user, problem solving, quick to react. Familiar with administration of large enterprise environments.

Strong service minded and good understanding of customer requirements.
