Alcon in Mexico City is seeking an Associate, Industrial & Laboratory Systems Engineering to support the IT Core Connectivity team. The role focuses on designing and operating IT and laboratory networks, offering hands-on experience in systems engineering within a global eye-care leader.

You will monitor LAN/WAN, cloud infrastructure, and security, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help implement changes and continuous improvements. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or IT.
• 2–4+ years of experience with monitoring and troubleshooting network devices (WLAN, LAN, Routers, SD-WAN).
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to work in Mexico City Network Operations Center.

Responsabilidades

• Act as primary contact for infrastructure-related services.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain service quality, security, and compliance.
• Monitor and maintain data center, LAN/WAN, Voice & Video, and Public Cloud infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain networks including LANs, WANs, WLANs and data center connectivity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT staff.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements.
