Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. (MEAU) is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to drive profitable growth within assigned MX accounts, focusing on CNC/Robot aftermarket, digitalization, automotive, and other priority markets. You will qualify opportunities, maintain Salesforce pipelines, and prepare quotations through closure.

Travel 5-10% within Mexico; requires 2+ years in B2B sales and CRM experience; bilingual English/Spanish helpful for cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial automation or manufacturing technology.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and customer support teams.
Self-motivated, organized, and results driven.
Previous experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or a similar role.
Effective and persuasive communication skills to build relationships developing trust
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-oriented with strong negotiation skills.
Communicate verbal and written in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels (English and Spanish).
Outgoing and excellent telephone personality

Responsibilities

Own a defined portfolio of assigned accounts and execute structured outreach plans to increase revenue, order frequency, product penetration, and customer engagement.
Recover inactive, dormant, or declining accounts by identifying the reason for lost activity, rebuilding the relationship, and converting qualified needs into actionable opportunities.
Retain active customers through regular follow-up, proactive identification of lifecycle requirements, and timely coordination of quotations, availability, delivery, and service support.
Generate new CNC and Robot aftermarket accounts through outbound prospecting, customer referrals, campaign follow-up, installed-base research, and coordinated market-development activities.
Identify aftermarket demand for CNC and Robot replacement parts, repairs, preventive maintenance, service agreements, training, and related value-added services.
Prospect for new-market opportunities in digitalization, automotive, and other priority segments; conduct initial discovery and determine business need, application, timing, decision process, budget indication, and next action.
Qualify leads using consistent criteria and transfer sales-ready opportunities to the appropriate sales, solution, service, channel, or technical owner with complete context and a documented follow-up plan.
Maintain accurate account, contact, lead, opportunity, activity, and next-step information in Salesforce ; ensure pipeline stages and expected timing remain current.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, coordinate internal responses, and maintain ownership of customer communication until the opportunity is closed, transferred, or formally disqualified.
Collaborate with Sales, Service, Marketing, Application Engineering, Customer Care, Credit, and distribution partners to remove barriers, protect customer experience, and accelerate conversion.
Provide regular visibility to account recovery progress, retention risks, lead quality, pipeline movement, customer feedback, and barriers requiring management support.
