Volex plc is seeking an Assistant Inside Sales Representative to support customer opportunities, quotations, and account administration. This entry point role provides exposure to customer relationships, product applications, pricing processes, and manufacturing operations within a global electrical connectivity leader.

The role requires strong communication in English and Spanish, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, sourcing, operations, and finance.

Formación

• Education/Experience/Credentials: Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, inside sales, order management, or manufacturing administration.
• Experience supporting customer-facing activities within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Language Ability: English and Spanish preferred.
• Reasoning Ability: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, multitasking, and problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Receive customer inquiries, RFQs, and commercial requests; validate information and coordinate responses with stakeholders.
• Maintain opportunities, contacts, activities, quote records, pricing information, and account notes within Epicor CRM.
• Support Inside Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers in quotations and proposals.
• Gather drawings, specifications, volumes, target pricing, and docs for quotation development.
• Monitor quotation status, approvals, due dates, and customer follow-up requirements.
• Coordinate communications between customers and internal departments including engineering, sourcing, operations, customer service, and finance.
• Track sample requests, prototype orders, and commercial activities for timely response.
• Assist with account reporting, pipeline management, backlog reviews, and overdue quotation analysis.
• Maintain accurate commercial documentation and support continuous improvement of sales processes.
• Escalate customer concerns, pricing issues, or delays to leaders.
• Develop knowledge of Volex products, capabilities, and policies to support advancement.
