You will develop AI and data-driven solutions, integrate software with existing operations, and collaborate with operations, logistics, and quality teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, electronics, or related technical field.
• Experience or strong interest in applying AI or ML to operations, logistics, or agribusiness.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with sensors, IoT, or hardware integration.
• Fluent Spanish; English is a plus for international coordination.

Role Description

The Ingeniero de Transformación Digital e Inteligencia Artificial will lead technology-driven initiatives to optimize agricultural, packing, and distribution processes across the lime supply chain. This full-time hybrid role is based in Guadalajara, JAL, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the time. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing digital transformation projects, developing AI and data-driven solutions for forecasting and process optimization, and integrating software tools with existing operational systems. The role will collaborate with operations, logistics, and quality teams to gather requirements, build prototypes, and deploy scalable technology solutions. The engineer will also monitor system performance, document technical workflows, and support continuous improvement and training efforts related to new digital tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to design and implement robust solutions using Software Development and Programming skills.
• Knowledge of Electronics and hardware integration to connect sensors, control systems, or IoT devices with digital platforms.
• Experience with Integration of systems and data sources to create unified, end-to-end digital workflows.
• Familiarity with Verilog or similar hardware description languages for specialized digital design and automation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Experience or strong interest in applying AI, data analytics, or machine learning to operations, logistics, or agribusiness.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and capacity to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency is an asset for international coordination.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, supply chain, agriculture, or food distribution environments is a plus.
