Siemens Energy in Querétaro is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes across our Switchgear operations.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while driving automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives to enhance data-driven decision making.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related functions within a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, line balancing, time studies, PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with SAP, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Advanced English communication skills with the ability to participate in global discussions and present technical projects effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, process transfers, and industrialization projects.
• Identify and implement automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 opportunities to enhance manufacturing performance and data-driven decision making.
• Lead capacity expansion, productivity improvement, cost reduction, and CapEx projects while coordinating cross-functional and global stakeholders.

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and standardizing manufacturing processes that drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across our Switchgear manufacturing operations. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve operational efficiency, solve technical challenges, and support the successful implementation of new products and manufacturing technologies.

Your day may include analyzing production data, supporting the shop floor, leading continuous improvement initiatives, implementing engineering changes, and driving automation and Industry 4.0 projects. Through your expertise, you will help create safer, more efficient, and more competitive manufacturing processes.

What You Bring
