Siemens Energy Guanajuato seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead Coil Assembly, Active Part Assembly, Shipping Preparation and Manufacturing Engineering. You will drive Lean, CI and Industry 4.0 initiatives to deliver safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost reductions across a 350+ person organization.

You will partner with Quality, EHS, Supply Chain and Finance to optimize capacity, engagement and continuous improvement, building a resilient manufacturing network for long-term growth.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field.
10+ years of manufacturing operations experience in an industrial setting.
5+ years of leadership experience managing large manufacturing organizations and multiple departments.
Mandatory experience in Power Transformer Manufacturing.
Experience leading teams of 350+ employees preferred.
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, CI, VSM, capacity planning, and operational excellence.
Experience driving automation, digital manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Proven business acumen with budgets, KPIs and strategic initiatives.
Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to collaborate across a global network.
Professional English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

Lead manufacturing operations across Coil Assembly, Active Part Assembly, Shipping Preparation, and Manufacturing Engineering.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Shop Floor Management, standardization, waste elimination, and productivity improvements.

The Manufacturing Manager leads the execution of the Guanajuato Power Transformer manufacturing operations through the direct oversight of Coil Assembly, Active Part Assembly, Shipping Preparation, and Manufacturing Engineering. This position is accountable for delivering world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and employee development while ensuring operational excellence across the value stream.

Leading an organization of more than 350 direct and indirect employees, the Manufacturing Manager drives manufacturing strategy, capacity optimization, workforce development, continuous improvement, automation initiatives, and operational discipline to meet customer commitments and business objectives. Working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, EHS, Project Management, Finance, and Plant Leadership, this role transforms business priorities into operational results and sustainable performance improvements.

How You'll Make An Impact

Lead and continuously improve the manufacturing operations across Coil Assembly, Active Part Assembly, Shipping Preparation, and Manufacturing Engineering, ensuring safe, efficient, and predictable execution of production commitments.
Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Shop Floor Management, standardization, waste elimination, bottleneck reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity, lead times, and quality performance.
Ensure achievement of key operational targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, Inventory, and Customer Satisfaction while maintaining focus on long-term manufacturing competitiveness.
Develop manufacturing capacity strategies and resource plans to support business growth, demand fluctuations, productivity improvements, and operational resilience.
Lead Manufacturing Engineering activities including process development, industrialization of new products, manufacturing standards, tooling improvements, process optimization, layout improvements, automation projects, and deployment of digital manufacturing solutions.
Foster a strong safety culture aligned with Zero Harm principles by ensuring compliance with company requirements, regulatory standards, risk-management processes, and operational controls throughout all manufacturing activities.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, EHS, and Project Management teams to proactively resolve production constraints and achieve customer delivery commitments.
Lead performance management and development initiatives for a manufacturing organization of more than 350 employees, including succession planning, leadership development, talent reviews, capability building, and employee engagement activities.
Sponsor and lead strategic initiatives related to automation, digitalization, Industry 4.0, productivity improvement, cost reduction, and operational transformation.
Establish a culture of accountability, customer focus, continuous learning, and operational discipline while developing future manufacturing leaders within the organization.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations within an industrial environment.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing large manufacturing organizations and multiple operational departments.
Mandatory experience in Power Transformer Manufacturing.
Demonstrated experience managing organizations with more than 200 employees; experience leading teams exceeding 350 employees is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Value Stream Management, Capacity Planning, Productivity Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
Experience driving automation, digital manufacturing, process optimization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Strong business acumen with experience managing operational budgets, productivity programs, manufacturing KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
Professional English proficiency and the ability to collaborate effectively within a global manufacturing network.

The individual must demonstrate the ability to lead a complex manufacturing organization of more than 350 employees, deliver sustainable performance improvements, and build high-performing teams capable of supporting the long-term growth and competitiveness of the Guanajuato factory.

About The Team

The Manufacturing Manager reports directly to the Plant Director and serves as a key member of the plant leadership team. The role leads the departments responsible for Coil Assembly, Active Part Assembly, Shipping Preparation, and Manufacturing Engineering, overseeing a manufacturing organization of more than 350 employees.

This position works closely with Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing operations while supporting plant growth, customer satisfaction, and strategic business objectives. The role also collaborates extensively with other Siemens Energy transformer factories and global manufacturing teams to share best practices, standardize processes, and accelerate operational excellence initiatives.
