Siemens Energy in Querétaro seeks a Logistics Specialist to manage global transport orders, coordinate international shipments, and handle transport documentation. You will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time, economical deliveries while maintaining compliance and accuracy.

The role requires 2–4 years in Transportation Management, knowledge of export processes, and strong English communication.

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in business field (Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar) or equivalent education with relevant work experience.
2–4 years in Transportation Management across air, sea, and ground.
Experience managing Logistics Services for on-time and economical delivery.
Basic knowledge of export processes and documentation.
Strong communication, customer orientation and teamwork, with English proficiency.
Advanced MS Office and basic SAP knowledge.

Responsabilidades

Prepare complete sets of transport documents and customs declarations, including dangerous goods where needed.
Order transports based on dates, preferred carriers, and contracts.
Arrange goods pickup from suppliers using all transport modes.
Clarify documents with internal and external partners.
Provide transport details and status to all relevant parties.
Hold carriers liable and resolve damages or delays with partners.

You’ll manage global transport orders, including arranging international transportation, preparing transport documents, and coordinating track & trace activities. You’ll work closely with international logistics service providers and partners to ensure smooth and timely deliveries, while collaborating with a fantastic and supportive team.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Preparation of complete sets of documents for transport ordering and customs declarations, observing specifics for dangerous goods transport where necessary.

Ordering of transports based on defined dates, preferred carriers, and transportation contracts.

Arranging for goods pickup at suppliers using all transport modes.

Clarification of documents with all involved internal and external business partners.

Providing information to all relevant parties on transport details and current status.

Holding carriers liable and clarifying discrepancies (damages, delays, etc.).

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in a business field (Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar), or equivalent education with relevant work experience; alternatively, experience as a forwarding agent/manager.

2–4 years of experience in Transportation Management covering all modes (air, sea, and ground), including processing, transport ordering, and monitoring.

Experience in managing Logistics Services, ensuring accurate, on-time, and economical delivery services to meet customer needs and/or internal project requirements.

Preferably, basic knowledge of export processes and documentation.

High analytical ability, customer and solution orientation, as well as social competence, assertiveness, and strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Above-average communication skills to stay informed, collaborate, and distribute all relevant information to internal and external business partners, e.g., internal and external suppliers, project management, and logistics service providers.

Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization in English, both spoken and written.

Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.) and basic knowledge of SAP.
