Robert Bosch Group in Celaya, Mexico is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality across products and processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement QA strategies and drive continuous improvement.

The role involves developing test plans, conducting root-cause analysis, managing PFMEA/Control Plans, and handling customer portals and 8Ds. Strong knowledge of ISO/Six Sigma and PPAP is preferred.

Formación

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related quality management roles for customers.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, best practices, and industry standards (ISO, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks).
  • Proficiency in test planning, test execution, and defect tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with quality management systems and documentation practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management tools.
  • Knowledge on PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan.
  • Knowledge on automotive customer portal.
  • Preferred: Project management or process improvement experience.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate and participate in meetings with customer.
  • Participate in meetings regarding the product on charge.
  • Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive test cases and quality assurance protocols to ensure product compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Identify, document, and analyze defects and quality issues, providing detailed reports with root cause analysis and recommendations for resolution.
  • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing and production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and organizational procedures.
  • Responsible for following up on customer complaints (closure of complaints and 8Ds) in order to meet customer and Bosch requirements.
  • Active participation in the development and updates of PFMEA and Control Plan.
  • Monitoring and updating information on customer portals.
  • Work with the necessary information to carry out the PPAP package for client approval.
  • Implement containment actions for customer complaints or to avoid customer impact.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and contribute to the development of enhanced quality procedures.
  • Coordinate/participate in client audits.
  • Participation in system audits.
  • Trainer of specific topics (e.g. special characteristics, concessions, etc.)
