PKC Group in Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua is seeking a Quality Engineer to analyze quality standards for components, materials, or services.

You will apply sampling methods, testing methodologies, and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO/IATF16949 and document quality performance for management reviews. Responsibilities include audits, problem solving, PPAP documentation, and direct contact with customers regarding complaints, engineering changes, and corrective actions.

Formación

• Proficiency with control plans and CORE TOOLs (SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA).
• Reading blueprints and applying quality standards per ISO/IATF16949.

Responsabilidades

• Review and update control plans and generate reports for problem solving.
• Ensure process adherence to ISO/IATF16949 and train quality inspectors.

QUALITY ENGINEER

Analyze quality standards for components, materials, or services. Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology, and other procedures that ensure compliance with the quality standards. Apply quality principles, analyze quality records, prepare reports, and recommend improvements. Perform audits, verifications, and validations of components or materials used in the development process. Identify and approach recurring problems, whether it is with the quality of the product or the reliability of the testing procedures. Document the quality problem and the performance measures for management review. May engage with external providers.

Responsabilities

• Review and update of Control Plan, preparation of reports and presentations for problem solution, monitoring of the process through the application of quality statistics tools, preparation of work instructions.
• Review adherence of the process to the quality system according to the ISO/IATF 16949 standard.
• Direction, coordination, and training for quality inspectors, including development of work and procedures.
• Develop documentation for PPAP.
• Direct contact with the customer to provide response to complaints, improvement opportunities, attend internal meetings and/or customer meetings regarding engineering changes, APQP, new projects and follow-up of complaints and corrective or improvement actions.
• Coordinate contests for the contention, repair of quality issues.
• Analysis of customer complaints for the development of countermeasures, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate meetings with the rest of the departments to follow-up of countermeasures of customer complaints.
• Comply with the environmental, security, and health requirements established in legislation and regulations related to our activities and products, as well as the EHS requirements established by the community, our customers, and others to which we subscribe.

Education or experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
• 3 to 5 years’ experience.

Skill/ knowledge requirements

• Preparation of control plan, CORE TOOL, (SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, PFEMA), ISO/IATF16949, Reading of blueprints
• Specific customer requirements, problem solution techniques, 8D’s, FTQ, SCRAP, PPMS, 5WH, 5’s
• Develop actions plans, Gantts and management of databases
• Advanced English.
