Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor current and new customers quality management systems to assure compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate and review control plans, reaction plans, technical specifications, and quality critical features with the work team, ensuring production area compliance in product manufacturing.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to execute permanent corrective actions in quality management systems and at customer sites due to warranty claims, ensuring accepted manufacturing quality targets.
• Manage current and new customer sites and respond promptly to warranty claims.
• Execute statistical analysis related to product survival and failures (MIS, Miles, MT, etc.).
• Validate permanent and preventive corrective actions resulting from warranty claims and suggest read‑across solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Validate error‑proofing equipment (error & mistake proofing) in response to warranty claims and recommend read‑across solutions when necessary.
• Promote continuous improvement and quality assurance systems to reduce warranties.
• Supervise the correct execution of countermeasures in plant and supplier bases due to warranty claims, approved by the Quality Team and SDE/SQA Plant.
• Utilize continuous improvement tools and problem‑solving methods (5’s, process mapping, DOE, Kaizen, 8D, Red Alert, etc.) for analysis and PCA’s, as defined by customer (GIM or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Education in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Ingeniería Automotriz, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in the automotive area or a similar sector.
• Knowledge of quality systems ISO/TS 16949 and experience with slim manufacturing methods.
• Analytical experience in problem‑solving and familiarity with core automotive quality tools.
• Advanced English communication skills.
