Job summary

Continental Mexico seeks an Industrial Engineer to develop and improve standards and processes for productivity and optimization. You will conduct time and motion studies, capacity analysis, and headcount planning, driving ergonomic layouts and efficient material flows across operations.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate with Production, HR, Training, ESH, and other teams to achieve plant targets and sustainable gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of IE principles including time and motion studies, capacity analysis, manpower planning, ergonomics, and process optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable improvement plans.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• English proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve IE standards and processes to optimize productivity, efficiency, capacity, and manpower utilization.
• Conduct time and motion studies, capacity and headcount analysis, and identify opportunities to improve layouts, ergonomics, material flow, and operations.
• Lead and support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives across cross-functional teams to achieve plant targets.
