Placements24 in Aguascalientes seeks an Industrial Processes Engineer to drive continuous improvement in a high-volume automotive plant. You will optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and support new products and technologies.

Responsibilities include SOP development, applying lean tools, conducting time and motion studies, and collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams while ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or closely related discipline
• At least 4 years of experience in industrial/process engineering; automotive sector preferred
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools
• Based in or willing to relocate to Aguascalientes, Mexico

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify optimization opportunities and cost reduction
• Design and implement improved layouts for production lines and workstations
• Develop and maintain SOPs for all production activities
• Apply lean techniques (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to streamline operations
• Conduct time and motion studies to improve productivity and ergonomics
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to implement process changes
• Monitor KPIs for production efficiency and implement corrective actions
• Support introduction of new products and technologies into manufacturing processes
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Train production personnel on new processes and best practices
