Aptiv in Saltillo, Mexico, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to provide manufacturing systems for our production processes across the DCS MEXICO plants. You will design layouts, operating methods, and tooling, and you will promote a safe, efficient work environment.

You will use SAP, apply Lean principles, and drive Kaizen and cost-reduction projects while meeting PPAP and MSD milestones. English proficiency and a background in Industrial Engineering are required for success.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience.
Advanced English core tools proficiency (PFD, PFMEA, PPAP, CONTROL PLAN).
Knowledge in the use of SAP.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing with AutoCAD, Turtle Diagrams and Operating Systems.
PFMEA AIAG-VDA.
Standardized work.
Knowledge in Ergonomics and Safety.
GSD (Release).

Responsabilidades

Provide and promote a Safe Work Environment.
Develop manufacturing systems for new products meeting Quality, Safety, and Customer-Required Capability.
Coordinate the Preparation of MSD.
Design PLANT LAYOUT.
Design Engineering Operating System.
Time and Motion.
Kaizen.
Ergonomics.
Design Operating Methods and Visual Aids.
Design Packaging Methods.
Enter information into SAP.
Coordinate MQ1 Functionality Validation.
Start up and implement Manufacturing Systems per guidelines (BOP, DFM, MSD, Safety, Ergonomics).
Meet the established PPAP Dates.
Release of New Processes and/or Tools.
Training for Manufacturing Engineers and Operators.
Continuous Improvement Support for Production Processes, including ICIM cost reduction.
