Job summary

Flex is expanding its automotive end-to-end process engineering team in Guadalajara South to shape production processes, capital equipment implementation, and NPIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish robust, repeatable methods and drive improvements across cycles, safety, yield, and reliability.

The role requires advanced English, a Bachelor’s degree, and experience with audits, training development, and supplier/equipment selection.

Qualifications

• Advanced English required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Review processing methods.
• Experience working with teams.
• Assist in training development for production personnel.
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.
• Lead cost improvement projects.
• Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Troubleshoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Experience in audits.
• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulics.
• Desirable experience in automotive industry.
• Experience in NPI process.
