GRAMMER AG is seeking a skilled Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer to lead product engineering and change management. You will drive P0 development processes, manage BOMs, and ensure compliance with ECMS and CATIA workflows.

The role demands hands-on project leadership and cross-functional collaboration across cutting, assembly, and painting areas. You will review technical documentation, support customer approvals, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting

Formación

• Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineer degree or related field.
• 3 years in the position.
• Knowledge of GD&T, product drawings, and characteristics.
• Experience with SAP, ECM, IMDS, and KVS.

What are your main tasks?

• Establish departmental objectives in collaboration with management, aligning them with company goals while adhering to corporate guidelines and policies.
• Manage activities related to P0 and engineering changes.
• Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Oversee corrective and preventive actions related to P0.
• Analyze technical information and ensure compliance (ECM workflow, SAP circular data, SAP input matrix).
• Develop and implement corrective and/or preventive actions throughout the P0 development process.
• Project management.
• Knowledge of various laboratory tests (e.g., flammability, hardness).
• Blueprint/drawing interpretation.
• Extensive experience in product engineering.
• Participate directly and actively in internal and external project and engineering change review meetings.
• Assist in coordinating customer approval activities (PSO, Run @ Rate, 2DP, and/or special events).
• Continuously improve processes to optimize natural resources, energy, etc.
• Develop, monitor, and execute preventive, corrective, and improvement action plans.
• Participate in assigned training programs, committing to applying the knowledge gained to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Represent the management team internally and externally at events related to the position.
  Support the Safety and Environment Department in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Participate in preparing and managing the area's annual budget.
• KVS user for reviewing VW Group technical documentation (Primary user).
• Plan industrialization and equipment optimization for Cutting, Sewing, Assembly, Foaming,
• Plastic Injection, Painting, and stamping areas to meet goals for serial production or new projects; ensure proper planning, execution, and control of engineering changes for new and serial products to guarantee successful launch and production.
• Generate and update technical documentation—such as parameter sheets, operation sheets, flow charts, FMEAs, visual aids, etc.—for Cutting, Sewing, Plastic Injection, Foaming, Assembly, Painting, and Stamping processes for serial products.
• Create capacity overviews.
• Perform calculations for new projects.
• Manage materials and optimize processes.
• Ensure the selection of special characteristics.
• Conduct plant capacity analyses.
• Work with PLCs, vision systems (cameras), and automation.
• Knowledge of vehicle interiors.
