Job summary

Vertiv seeks an Industrial Engineer in the Monterrey area to develop labor standards and perform workforce planning for high-volume production. You will lead line balancing, analyze labor performance, and establish standard work with robust reporting.

You will also design efficient layouts, support facility expansions, and drive Lean initiatives across teams to improve throughput and reduce costs. Expect cross-functional collaboration and occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Experience applying time studies and work measurement techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience in capacity planning and labor standards development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain labor standards using time studies and predetermined methods.
• Perform workforce planning and labor capacity analysis.
• Lead line balancing to optimize labor utilization and throughput.
• Analyze direct and indirect labor performance and identify productivity opportunities.
• Establish and maintain standard work and labor reporting systems.
• Design and optimize manufacturing layouts to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Support facility expansions and manufacturing footprint optimization.
• Lead Lean initiatives and Kaizen events.
• Develop operational KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting.
• Support new product introduction and manufacturing readiness.
