Carrier México, S.A. de C.V. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing methods, labor standards, and workflows across the plant to boost productivity and efficiency.

The role requires conducting time and motion studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and standard work development while collaborating with Production, Quality, and Logistics to reduce costs and improve reliability. Strong data skills and Lean experience are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of IE experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with time studies and line balancing.
• Knowledge of standard work, capacity planning, and labor modeling.
• Experience designing plant layouts and optimizing material flow.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize processes.
• Develop line balancing models, capacity plans, and direct labor requirements.
• Define and maintain standard work procedures for production operations.
• Evaluate and optimize plant layouts and material flow processes.
• Lead productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support production line optimization efforts.
• Apply Lean tools and data analytics for continuous improvement.
• Develop labor and capacity models to support workforce planning.
• Configure labor-related parameters within ERP/MES systems.
• Analyze data and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Prepare reports and performance metrics for decision-making.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to improve performance.
