Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support for the product line and lead production-area initiatives. You will collaborate with management on lean programs, process improvements and cost reduction efforts to enhance quality and efficiency.

The role requires strong communication across English and Spanish, experience with CAD tools, and the ability to drive projects in a large, global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum four years of high-level manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in MS Office; advanced PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with CAD tools such as PRO-E or AutoCAD.
• Six Sigma or SPC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends with management to develop solutions and procedures.
• Eliminate bottlenecks and balance paint processes for higher yield.
• Work with Safety and Health to ensure ergonomic and safe tooling.
• Lead cost reduction through process design and tooling acquisitions.
• Oversee capital equipment and tooling for the manufacturing area.
• Document products with BOMs, routers, value stream maps, and flow charts.
