Flex is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Guadalajara, North Campus, to drive productivity by optimizing processes, layouts, and equipment usage. You will report to the Industrial Manager and tackle production challenges with lean methods.

Responsibilities include estimating process times, simulating workflows with REFA/MOST/WITNESS, coordinating NPI, and analyzing data to improve labor and equipment efficiency. Fluency in English is required.

Qualificações

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a similar position or as an Industrial Engineer.
• Advanced English written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Provide process time estimation to the quote team.
• Simulate process, materials and manufacturing workflow using REFA, MOST, WITNESS or equivalent tools.
• Coordinate process planning and setup for NPI with takt and cycle time considerations.
• Review prototype results and give feedback to NPI and sales teams.
• Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, production costs and schedules to improve efficiency.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Industrial Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Industrial Manager the role involves responsibilities for increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.

What a typical day looks like:

• Provides process time estimation to the quote team.
• Simulates process, materials and manufacturing workflow and gives input to process engineer by using REFA, MOST, WITNESS and or adequate tools.
• During NPI coordinates process planning and set up with respect to takt, cycle time and direct labor requirement.
• Reviews result during protyping and trial runs and gives feedback to NPI and sales team.
• Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in similar position or Industrial Engineer.
• Advanced English spoken and written.
• Production & facilities management: capacity analysis, line balancing, and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Lean & quality standards: basic Lean Manufacturing knowledge; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA, IPC.
• Electronics manufacturing: SMT, PCB assembly, and clean room environments.
• Projects & systems: infrastructure projects and basic SAP/ERP experience.
• Data & sustainability: advanced Excel, Power BI, and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Knowledge in Assembly and PCBA Manufacturing processes.
