Flextronics - The Flex Company is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Guadalajara North Campus. You will analyze workforce utilization, redesign layouts, and optimize workflows to boost throughput.

The role supports SpinCo, the planned spin-off of Flex's Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment, and focuses on delivering efficient, scalable manufacturing processes for electronics and backend integration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• English basic communication skills.
• Experience in Electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Simulation experience in manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of capacity calculations in a production environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout and production data to optimize resources.
• Design, execute and optimize material flows, WIP and finished goods on the factory floor.
• Lead initiatives to increase throughput and reduce cost in key areas.
• Recommend methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste and energy use.
• Simulate processes and provide input to process engineers.
• Provide process time estimations to the quote team and support time standards.

If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Industrial En gineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Industrial Engineering Manager , the Industrial Engineer is responsible for increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.What a typical day looks like:Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.Design, execute and optimize overall flows of material, WIP and FGI in the factory floor.Leads and supports initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas like Back End, Front End Operations & Supply Chain areas.Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocation work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipmentSimulates process, materials and manufacturing workflow and gives input to process engineerProvides process time estimation to the quote team.Work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization using MOST and or adequate tools.Expertise on simulator management.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceEnglish basicPrefered experience in Electronics manufacturingSimulation experienceKnowledge on manufacturing capacity calculationExperience in Backend and System Integration Process PreferredAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demandAbility to effectively communicate with managers and employees of the organizations.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:Competitive Salary.Life & Medical insurance.Christmas Bonus.Food Coupons.Saving Fund.OC16Job CategoryProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:Optional Skills:Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
