Flextronics - The Flex Company in Guadalajara, Mexico, seeks a Sr Industrial Engineer to drive productivity through people, methods, and technology on the North Campus. You will provide process time estimates for quotes, simulate workflow with LEAN tools, and support NPI process planning with takt and labor needs.

You will analyze layouts, capacity, and production data to improve efficiency and promote continuous improvement through Kaizen, 5S, and standardization in a fast-paced electronics

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
• Familiarity with value stream mapping (VSM) and process documentation.
• Exposure to Kaizen, 5S and process standardization.
• Experience in production & facilities management and line balancing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide process time estimation to the quote team.
• Simulate process, materials and manufacturing workflow and advise the process engineer.
• Coordinate process planning and setup during NPIs with takt, cycle time and direct labor requirements.
• Review results during prototyping and trials and give feedback to NPI and sales.
• Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout and production data to optimize efficiency.
