Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico seeks an Analyst Industrial Designer to help identify trends and translate insights into design solutions for next‑gen home appliances. You will develop concepts, CAD models, prototypes and high‑quality renderings to communicate design intent.

Collaborate with marketing, manufacturing and engineering, and work with specialists in CMF, UI/UX, usability and craftsmanship to create immersive experiences that reflect our design philosophy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited school.
• 2-5 years of professional design experience in a corporate or consultant environment.
• 3D computer modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Create assets ranging from conceptual sketches, CAD models, physical prototypes, and high-quality renderings/animations to communicate design intent.
• Work with a variety of process partners to gain an understanding of marketing strategies, manufacturing requirements, and engineering constraints.
• Grow an understanding of our design strategies and philosophies by working with cross-functional design leads.
• Work with design specialists in graphic design, CMF, UI/UX, usability, and craftsmanship to create fully immersive experiences.
