Whirlpool Corporation in Mexico is seeking an Analyst Industrial Designer to help understand emerging trends and translate insights into design solutions for the next generation of home appliances. You will create sketches, CAD models, prototypes, and renderings, and collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, and engineering to communicate design intent.

Portfolio is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and 2–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited school.
• 2-5 years of professional design experience in a corporate or consultant environment.
• 3D CAD modeling skills.

• Create assets ranging from conceptual sketches, CAD models, physical prototypes, and high-quality renderings/animations to communicate design intent.
• Work with process partners to gain an understanding of marketing strategies, manufacturing requirements, and engineering constraints.

• Work with design specialists in graphic design, CMF, UI/UX, usability, and craftsmanship to create fully immersive experiences.

This role in summary

As an Analyst Industrial Designer, you will support efforts to understand emerging trends, seek out real-life insights, and create design solutions that will impact experiences for the next generation of home appliances.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited school
• 2-5 years of professional design experience in a corporate or consultant environment
• 3D Computer modeling skills
