Flex in Guadalajara, Mexico seeks a Buyer Indirect to manage procurement for multiple sites, focusing on supplier management, sourcing, cost optimization, and timely indirect purchases including facilities and services.

Reporting to the Commodity Manager Indirect, the role requires Excel proficiency (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP), strong communication in English, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in Direct or Indirect Purchasing; commodity sourcing is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, What-If Analysis.
• Intermediate PowerPoint for executive presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement requirements and ensure policy compliance.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Analyze quotations and select best sourcing options by cost, quality, and delivery.
• Prepare procurement analyses and reports using Excel.
• Provide excellent internal customer service and support.
• Execute tactical purchasing decisions and support sourcing initiatives.
• Lead sourcing events, RFQs, supplier bidding, and negotiations within approved authority.
• Conduct quarterly supplier performance reviews and support development.
• Maintain procurement records and metrics.
