Flex, located in Guadalajara's North Campus, seeks a Purchasing Manager Direct to lead direct materials procurement. Reporting to the Director of Materials, you will oversee a team of buyers and expeditors to meet delivery and quality targets while coordinating with procurement to implement strategies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, advanced English, and proven leadership in electronics manufacturing procurement.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
• Establishes goals for purchasing department.
• Follow-uppolicies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
• Manage andguidea team of buyers and expeditors to meet procurement and supplier managementgoals.
• Interface with procurement groups in updating and maintaining company procurement strategies.
• Implement processes with suppliers to improve on time delivery and Purchase Price Variance.
• Helping implementation ofVendor Managed Inventory models.
• Supervise the team in the management of the supply chain to achieve continuous timely supply of parts and services.
• Approves purchase orders and change notices through subordinates.
• Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Ensures continuity of raw material supply tohelpproduction schedules and balances with achieving inventory level targets.
• Investigates inventory levels.Helps process to manage excess and obsolete material.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews andhelpthe team to maintain supplier consistent on time delivery and implement processes with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and quality of product / service.
• Keep senior management informed of present/future trends in availability and cost of materials,componentsand equipment.
• Monitors on-time supplier deliveries, inventory turns, MRP execution, Purchase Price Variance,processingtime reduction, supplier performance and costinvestigation.
