ANDREW, an Amphenol company, seeks a logistics professional to optimize inbound/outbound transportation for raw materials and finished goods. You will evaluate carriers, prepare export/import declarations, and coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure cost-efficient, compliant shipments.

The role requires 2–5 years in import/export logistics, SAP experience, and bilingual English–Spanish.

Formación

• University degree (required).
• 2–5 years in importation of raw materials/equipment and export of finished products (maquila).
• APICS certification preferred.
• Proficient with SAP on PC.
• Knowledge of shipping, traffic and international regulations and licenses.
• Bilingual English–Spanish.
• Knowledge of quality systems and EHS concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze company and customer needs to research transport methods and agencies, auditing costs and performance for lowest transportation cost.
• Select carriers based on shipment requirements and coordinate logistics with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare shipment documents, invoices, packing lists, export/import declarations, and shipping instructions.
• Release and maintain delivery documents, audit bills of lading and receipts, and resolve shipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and wear PPE as required.
• Manage Entropy system and understand EHS system responsibilities.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Analyzes the needs of the company and customers, researching transportation methods and agencies, auditing costs and performance, to ensure the lowest transportation cost.
• Follow all instructions regarding work dictated by the immediate supervisor.
• From an analysis derived from the shipment requirements, identify and select the carrier for the different shipments.
• Interacts with internal and external customers, freight forwarders and agencies and other functional areas to ensure the coordination and logistics of shipments.
• Prepares documentation for shipments including documents, invoices, packing lists, export-import declarations, shipping instructions and any other required documents.
• Responsible for releasing and maintaining delivery documents, auditing bills of lading and receipts, and providing transportation costs. Resolve and follow up on shipment-related issues.
• Maintain your work area and equipment in a clean, safe and professional manner. The employee is expected to follow all safety rules, keep their work area clean and tidy; and wear your personal protective equipment (PPE) in areas that are needed.
• Have knowledge and management of the Entropy system.
• Know the responsibilities of the EHS system.

Qualification Requirements

• University degree
• Experience of two (2) to five (5) years in the area of importation of raw materials and equipment; as well as the export of finished product and return of machinery (maquila program).
• APICS certification preferred.
• Effective on the PC and highly familiar with SAP.
• Knowledge and/or experience in shipping regulations, traffic regulations, international regulations, certifications and import-export licenses.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize them in order of importance.
• Bilingual English-Spanish.
• Knowledge of quality system and EHS management system concepts.
