Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. is hiring an Import Operations Specialist to coordinate and monitor import activities for raw materials, components, and finished goods in a fast-paced, international electronics manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3+ years in import operations or customs compliance, strong knowledge of customs procedures, and advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in SAP or Oracle and English language ability.

Formación

• 3+ years in import operations or customs compliance
• Experience in manufacturing/electronics is a plus
• Strong understanding of customs procedures and tariff classifications
• Experience with brokers, forwarders, and logistics providers
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and monitor import activities for raw materials, electronics components, and finished goods
• Review import documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and government programs
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Track international shipments and ensure on-time delivery
• Analyze import costs and identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain and report KPIs for import operations
• Resolve customs clearance issues and compliance matters
• Support audits related to foreign trade and customs compliance

• Coordinate and monitor import activities for raw materials, electronic components, and finished goods.
• Manage and review import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable trade regulations, customs laws, and government programs.
• Serve as the primary liaison with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Track international shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze import-related costs and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Maintain and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to import operations.
• Resolve customs clearance issues, shipment discrepancies, and compliance-related matters.
• Support internal and external audits related to foreign trade and customs compliance.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in import operations, international trade, or customs compliance.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of customs procedures, import regulations, and tariff classification.
• Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Customs and international trade regulations.
• INCOTERMS.
• IMMEX, PROSEC, and VAT/IEPS Certification programs (preferred).
• Customs documentation and import compliance processes.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
