Siemens in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, is seeking a qualified Customs Supervisor to coordinate and review import/export processes for raw materials and finished products, validate customs declarations, conduct Annex 22 audits, and ensure operations close out without negatively impacting costs or timelines.

You will monitor offsets and reconciliations between internal systems and authorities, manage and train staff, liaise with customs brokers and carriers, ensure compliance with IMMEX, PROSEC, and

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, international business, customs, business administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years (or more) in customs, logistics, and foreign trade departments, preferably in an IMMEX environment.
• Customs Law, foreign trade regulations, and international treaties.
• Advanced proficiency in IMMEX, PROSEC, VUCEM, Annex 22, Annex 24, and Annex 31.
• ERPs (SAP preferred) and customs inventory control systems.
• Familiarity with supply chain security programs such as CTPAT and OEA.
• English level (Advanced)

Summary Of Requirements (Qualifications, Experience, Skills)

• Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, International Business, Customs, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years (or more) in customs, logistics, and foreign trade departments, preferably in an IMMEX environment.
• Customs Law, foreign trade regulations, and international treaties.
• Advanced proficiency in IMMEX, PROSEC, VUCEM, Annex 22, Annex 24, and Annex 31.
• ERPs (SAP preferred) and customs inventory control systems
• Familiarity with supply chain security programs such as CTPAT and OEA.
• Analytical skills, very good judgment, decision making, negotiation, persuasion, people orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• High level of motivation and problem solving.
• English level (Advanced)
