Emerson in Mexico is seeking an experienced Equipment Buyer to drive cost reduction and optimize supplier performance. The role focuses on developing procurement strategies, managing orders with accurate terms, and ensuring timely delivery to support IDM and other departments.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of buying experience for equipment, machinery, and inputs, plus a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and fluent English (B2). Travel internationally (USA visa) is expected.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Pursuing continuous improvements in cost, lead time, quality, commercial terms and logistics costs.

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on cost reduction, supply base optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring all commercial terms, technical specifications, and payment conditions are accurately documented to support efficient procurement activities.

• Proactively monitor purchase orders to ensure supplier on time deliveries are met and materials and services are available on time for the indirect material (IDM) warehouse and other departments.

• Maintain and control procurement systems to ensure compliance with KPIs and Service Level goals (SLs).

• Proficient in MS Office

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Education: Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, International Business or Engineering.

• English: Fluid English (B2).

• Ability to travel including internationally(USA-VISA).

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Outstanding Knowledge in MRO parameters.

• Indirect warehouse & Inventory experience

• Oracle Software (desirable)

• Working with global staff.
