Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a procurement professional focused on equipment, machinery, and inputs. You will develop sourcing strategies, create and monitor purchase orders, and ensure timely deliveries while optimizing costs and logistics.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of buyer experience, a bachelor’s degree in Administration, International Business, or Engineering, and fluent English (B2). International travel (USA visa) is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years or more of work experience preferable as an equipment, machinery, and inputs buyer.
• Education: Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, International Business or Engineering.
• English: Fluid English (B2).
• Ability to travel including internationally(USA-VISA).

Responsibilities

• Pursuing continuous improvements in cost, lead time, quality, commercial terms and logistics costs.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on cost reduction, supply base optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring all commercial terms, technical specifications, and payment conditions are accurately documented to support efficient procurement activities.
• Proactively monitor purchase orders to ensure supplier on time deliveries are met and materials and services are available on time for the IDM warehouse and other departments.
• Maintain and control procurement systems to ensure compliance with KPIs and Service Level goals (SLs).
• Proficient in MS Office.

• Pursuing continuous improvements in cost, lead time, quality, commercial terms and logistics costs.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on cost reduction, supply base optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

• Maintain and control procurement systems to ensure compliance with KPIs and Service Level goals (SLs).
• Proficient in MS Office
