Capgemini in Mexico is seeking a hands-on Unix/Linux engineer to monitor and respond to platform alerts in a 24/7 environment. You will troubleshoot issues, execute recovery actions, and coordinate with resolver teams to restore services quickly.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of Linux administration experience (Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS), strong CLI skills, and familiarity with monitoring tools, ITIL processes, and cloud platforms.

Formación

• 2–5 years of experience supporting Unix/Linux environments.
• Hands-on with Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS administration.
• Strong command-line skills and knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Understanding monitoring tools, alert management, and incident response processes.
• Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and respond to platform alerts and production incidents in Unix/Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot system issues and execute recovery actions to restore services quickly.
• Coordinate with resolver teams and stakeholders to resolve operational incidents.
• Maintain operational documentation, support records, and shift handover notes.
• Escalate recurring or complex issues and contribute to platform stability improvements.
