Job summary

Nutanix is seeking an accomplished Systems Reliability Engineer to support our cloud solution in the field and improve the customer experience of our private cloud products.

You will work with Sales and Software Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, drive product improvements, and participate in incident management and RCA activities. The role offers hybrid work with on-site collaboration several days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years relative working experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with distributed teams.
• Passion for delivering high-quality support experiences to customers.
• Experience troubleshooting VMware ESXi, networking, Linux, DevOps, cloud or storage.
• Ability to collaborate with developers and partners to improve products.
• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, debug, reproduce and resolve complex technical issues for customers.
• Collaborate with developers to identify defects and product improvements.
• Participate in incident management and RCA for critical issues.
• Improve serviceability by testing features and building deployment tools.
• Analyze customer base to reduce install base risks.
• Suggest product changes based on customer feedback.
• Coordinate with technology partners to resolve ecosystem issues.
• Create and maintain knowledge bases for internal and external users.
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
