Roland Berger is seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist to support our Digital Hub in the Americas, working closely with consultants and clients to deliver data-driven solutions. This is a hybrid role based in our Mexico City office.

You will contribute to building data pipelines, developing models, and translating analytics into actionable business insights across industries. Strong Python/SQL and visualization skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Consulting experience or exposure to business strategy projects is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take innovative approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, clean and analyze large datasets from diverse sources.
• Visualize and interpret data to extract actionable insights.
• Build data pipelines for advanced analytics in both code and no-code.
• Design data architectures and ontologies for business analytics and applications.
• Integrate OCR, AI, embeddings and other techniques to handle unstructured data.
• Develop code and no-code interactive front-ends and applications implementing business workflows.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
• Identify opportunities for advanced analytics and AI applications within client projects.
• Collaborate with consultants, data scientists, and clients to translate needs into analytical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for internal and client use.
• Participate in client meetings to present findings and recommendations.
