Cummins Inc. is hiring an IT Operations Support Specialist - Senior for our Information Technology team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

The role provides operational support and service ownership for Edge Platform solutions across Mexico and LATAM, partnering with business stakeholders, vendors, and global IT teams to deliver secure, reliable technology services. The position leads incident, problem, and change management activities, drives process standardization, and provides technical guidance to

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT field.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and operational services.
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Application Hosting, Storage Infrastructure, and Enterprise Backup solutions.
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management in ITIL-based environments.
• Advanced English proficiency and fluent Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Provide operational support and service ownership for Edge Platform services across Mexico and LATAM.
• Ensure service availability, reliability, performance, and security for IT environments.
• Oversee Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes and governance with providers.
• Partner with stakeholders, global IT teams, and vendors to deliver aligned technology services.
• Support capacity planning, technology refreshes, and modernization initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Provide guidance and oversight to support teams and service providers.
• Assist with asset management, governance, and audits.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for critical incidents.
• Drive standardization of operational processes across LATAM.
