Copeland is seeking an engineer to provide technical support for AC OEMs in Mexico and Central America from the NOLA region. You will assist with product selection, engineering changes, and production line support for compressors, controls and accessories.

The role requires a strong HVAC background, knowledge of chillers and heat pumps, and familiarity with BMS. Fluency in Spanish and English is required; up to 25% travel may be needed as you collaborate with cross-functional teams and train

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Strong HVAC background including chillers, heat pumps and air handlers. Knowledge of compression systems including scroll, screw and centrifugal technologies.
• Understanding of electronic control systems for chillers and heat pumps, building management systems (BMS) is desirable.
• Excellent presentation skills. Customer focus. Spanish and English proficiency
• Travel requirements: Up to 25%

Responsabilidades

• Provide Technical Support for the full Copeland product portfolio (compressors, controls and accessories) to AC OEMs including but not limited to: Product selection, Engineering Support to new product implementations and engineering changes, Production Line Support for pilot runs and standard production, Warranty Administration, Sample Coordination.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and Copeland´s product engineering, development team and lab personnel.
• Development of Application Profiles
• Customer Training
• Develop, translate or adapt product application bulletins.
• Represent Copeland at industry forums and conferences
