Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Post Sales Engineer to provide advanced technical support for commercial HVAC customers and field teams. This role links customers with service operations, engineering, manufacturing, and quality to resolve complex issues in air-cooled chillers and rooftop units.

The ideal candidate will bring deep HVAC expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/industrial engineering.
5+ years with air-cooled chillers or similar Commercial HVAC systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for product, controls, and system issues.
5+ years using MS Office and technical reporting tools.
Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally; valid passport and U.S. visa.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Provide post-sale technical support to customers, field service teams, and sales teams.
Support installation, startup, commissioning, operation, and troubleshooting of Commercial HVAC equipment.
Investigate field issues, collect data, and determine root causes with cross-functional teams.
Develop clear technical reports documenting field conditions, actions, and recommendations.
Support warranty investigations and contribute to product quality initiatives.
Communicate customer feedback and field learnings to cross-functional teams.
