Carrier México, S.A. de C.V. seeks an entry‑level Test and Validation professional to analyze equipment and prepare tests for small platforms. You will support testing of HVAC products, set up basic instrumentation, and document results for engineering review.

You will follow procedures, maintain records, and assist with data collection while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld. Strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or Mechatronics is required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, lab or R&D with HVAC experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented with ability to read diagrams and follow procedures.
• Familiarity with basic shop tools and report writing in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Basic refrigeration concepts and electrical/mechanical fundamentals understood.

About the role

Entry‑level professional in Test and Validation who analyzes equipment and processes and prepares equipment for testing for small platforms/systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute standard HVAC and S&V tests by following established procedures and work instructions. Support testing of outdoor splits, heat pumps, SPPs, gas furnaces and fan coils products
• Set up and operate basic test instrumentation (microphones, accelerometers, pressure sensors). Assist with test chamber setup, calibration checks, and data collection
• Document anomalies to engineers
• Follow safety, quality, and Carrier standard work practices
• Coordinate with engineers and internal customers on sample timing, preparation and initiation
• Maintain detailed records of testing conducted with detailed measurements of test solutions, environmental conditions and equipment status
• Maintain a safe working environment, following all procedures and PPE requirements
• Ensure the proper installation and orientation of measurement sensors
• Compare results against international standards, customer requirements, and internal limits
• Prepare clear and structured technical reports, including graphs, conclusions, and recommendations
• Maintain and verify the calibration status of measurement equipment
• Comply with industrial safety, quality, and 5S policies during the execution of tests

Requirements

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, lab and / or R&D with HVAC experience a significant plus
• Must be detail oriented, mechanically inclined and have experience with basic shop tools, digital photography and computer usage (including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of: Refrigeration cycle, electrical measurements and mechanical fundamentals
• Ability to follow procedures accurately and work with or without supervision
• Welding (preferable)
• Understanding basic refrigeration system focus on HVAC system (Furnace, Fan coil, Furnace Coil, Heat Pump, AC Condensing Unit, Rooftop Units, Packaged Products, Chillers) functions would be beneficial
• Basic-Intermediate English
• Ability to read and comprehend International Standards
• Ability to write reports to communicate technical data
• Ability to effectively present technical information to other employees of the organization
