Empresa Confidencial is seeking an experienced HR leader to oversee personnel administration, employee relations, and labor relations across multiple plants. You will lead investigations, ensure legal compliance, and partner with regional leadership during union negotiations using HR metrics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years in HR with 3+ years in senior HR leadership, and strong knowledge of Mexican labor law. Fluency in English/Spanish is essential.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • 3+ years in Senior HRBP, HR Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices including employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and OD.
  • Experience supporting plant operations and partnering with operational leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and HRIS; TRESS experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mexican labor law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage personnel administration, employee turnover, and absenteeism initiatives.
  • Develop and implement labor relations strategies that promote positive employee relations and workforce engagement.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership during union negotiations using HR metrics to develop bargaining strategies and outcomes.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues through investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Communicate, interpret, and consistently apply company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with HR processes and standards.
  • Coordinate with HR and business stakeholders to address complex employee situations.
  • Monitor turnover, absenteeism, engagement, staffing effectiveness, and labor cost.

Functions:


  • Manage personnel administration, employee turnover, and absenteeism initiatives.

  • Develop and implement labor relations strategies that promote positive employee relations and workforce engagement.

  • Collaborate closely with regional leadership throughout union negotiations, leveraging HR metrics, workforce analytics, and labor insights to develop effective bargaining strategies and achieve favorable collective agreement outcomes.

  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues through objective, thorough, and effective investigations.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Communicate, interpret, and consistently apply company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

  • Ensure compliance with all Human Resources processes and standards.

  • Coordinate with appropriate HR and business stakeholders to address complex employee situations.

  • Monitor key indicators such as turnover, absenteeism, engagement, staffing effectiveness, and labor cost


Experiences/Education - Required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Senior HRBP, HR Manager, or equivalent HR leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of general HR practices including employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and organizational development.

  • Experience supporting plant operations and partnering with operational leadership teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and develop practical solutions.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; TRESS experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of Mexican labor law and HR compliance requirements.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
