Genesis Management is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the full scope of HR operations in Mexico City, working closely with our US operations. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of people strategy and day-to-day execution.

You will lead our HR team of three and report directly to our US-based CEO, with ownership of HR and a direct line to senior leadership across borders. The role requires bilingual proficiency and comfort advising executives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience across Mexico and US operations.
• Deep knowledge of Mexican labor law (LFT, IMSS) and US employment law basics.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Experience leading an HR team or HR professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common workplace systems.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and own full-cycle recruiting.
• Administer and improve compensation, benefits, payroll, and performance management systems.
• Own employee relations and retention, conduct exit interviews, and implement actions.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican and US employment laws and maintain records.
• Design and coordinate employee training and development programs.
• Track key HR metrics and inform leadership with insights.
• Lead and develop the HR team and collaborate with cross-border leadership.

About the Role

Genesis Management is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the full scope of our HR operations. Based in our Polanco office in Mexico City and working closely with our US operations, this is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of people strategy and day-to-day execution - ideal for a bilingual HR professional who is equally comfortable advising executives, developing policy, and rolling up their sleeves to solve everyday people challenges.

You will lead our HR team of three and report directly to our US-based CEO, with real ownership of the HR function and a direct line to senior leadership on both sides of the border.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and own full-cycle recruiting - sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding
• Administer and continuously improve compensation, benefits, payroll, and performance management systems
• Own employee relations and retention - serving as the first point of contact for workplace concerns, conducting exit interviews, and turning what you learn into action
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Mexican and US employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate personnel records and required documentation
• Design and coordinate employee training and development programs aligned with organizational goals
• Track key people metrics - turnover, hiring, engagement - and use them to inform recommendations to leadership
• Lead, direct, and develop the members of our HR team
• Partner with senior leadership as a strategic advisor on workforce planning, organizational policy, HR budgets, and diversity and inclusion practices

You're equally at home in both languages and both business cultures - comfortable coaching an employee in the morning and briefing US leadership in the afternoon.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including demonstrated success implementing HR strategies, recruiting, and payroll administration across Mexico and US operations
• Deep knowledge of Mexican labor law and statutory requirements (LFT, IMSS), plus working knowledge of US federal and state employment law
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
• Experience leading an HR team or managing HR professionals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common workplace systems

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
• SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or GPHR certification
• Hands-on experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits enrollment platforms
• Experience designing compensation structures - salary benchmarking, pay bands, or incentive plans
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting metrics
• Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
