The LEGO Group is seeking an HR Specialist on a temporary six-month contract in Monterrey, Mexico, to lead support for Consumer Shopper Engagement and Business Support Operations teams. The hybrid role requires managing employee relations, investigations, and governance while ensuring compliance with local laws.

Join a dynamic People, Places, and Culture team and help drive continuous improvement, with English proficiency and strong stakeholder collaboration across geographies and functions.

Formación

  • Experience in Labor Relations including LFT knowledge and application.
  • Advanced English proficiency required.
  • Self-directed with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

  • Own Employee Relations governance for the site, lead investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations and grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican Labor Law and audit standards; manage risk and avoid litigation.
  • Advise site leadership; mentor managers on performance management and workforce decisions.
  • Lead workplace investigations and case management for harassment, misconduct and policy violations.
  • Oversee onboarding compliance, probation, contract administration, performance-improvement processes, and offboarding.
  • Audit turnover, absenteeism and engagement risks; propose interventions.
  • Maintain inspection-ready employee files and documentation; ensure data privacy and safety obligations.

Job Description

Are you ready to dive into the heart of employee relations and make a real impact? Join our dynamic team as a Human Resource Specialist on a temporary six-month contract. You will lead support for our Consumer Shopper Engagement (CSE) and Business Support Operations (BSO) teams. Bring your expertise and passion to a role that's as exciting as it is rewarding!

Please Note
  • All resumes must be in English.
  • The office will be moving to Torre Obispado 1 (T.Op)Constitución 2200, Obispado, 64060 Monterrey, N.L., Mexico in September 2026.
  • Our hybrid working model is 3 days office/2 days home weekly.
  • This position is on a six-month fixed-term contract basis until February 2027.
Core Responsibilities
  • Own Employee Relations governance for the site Lead all investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, grievances, ethics cases, and conflict resolution processes, ensuring legal compliance and consistent decision-making.
  • Mitigate labor and compliance risk proactively Ensure full adherence to Mexican Labor Law, telework regulations (if applicable), STPS requirements, internal policies, and audit standards; anticipate and prevent litigation, inspections, or reputational risk.
  • Act as trusted advisor to site leadership Mentor managers on performance management, difficult conversations, workforce decisions, documentation standards, and employee engagement risks.
  • Lead workplace investigations and case management Conduct structured, documented investigations related to harassment, misconduct, retaliation, ethics breaches, and policy violations; ensure defensible outcomes.
  • Support workforce lifecycle processes Lead onboarding compliance, probationary follow-up, contract administration, performance improvement processes, and offboarding practices.
  • Audit employee climate and attrition drivers Auditing turnover, absenteeism, grievance trends, and engagement risks typical of call center operations; recommend preventive interventions.
  • Ensure audit readiness and documentation control Maintain complete and inspection-ready employee files, disciplinary records and compliance evidence.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Safety, IT, and Compliance partners Serve as the local point of contact for cross-functional risk matters including psychosocial risk (NOM-035), data privacy, and workplace safety obligations.
