The LEGO Group in Monterrey is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional for a 1-year parental cover. You will deliver high-quality AR processes, manage credit and collections, and support global standardization across our organization.

Strong English and Spanish skills are required, with experience in SAP or similar ERP systems. You will join a global team focused on process excellence, partner management, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and

  • Proven experience within Finance/Accounts Receivable or similar role.
  • Experience in Shared Service Center or process improvement is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.

Responsabilidades

  • Deliver high-quality AR processes and customer-focused support.
  • Handle credit and collections activities, payment follow-up, and account management.
  • Perform credit risk assessments using financial statements and annual reports.
  • Release or cancel orders per policies and credit guidelines.
  • Build relationships with internal partners and external customers across regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement to standardize and optimize AR processes.

Core Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, customer-focused Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion while providing excellent partner support
  • Manage more advanced Accounts Receivable activities, including credit and collections processes, payment follow-up, and customer account management
  • Perform detailed credit risk assessments, including analysis of financial statements and annual reports to support informed credit decisions
  • Release or cancel customer orders in accordance with company policies and credit guidelines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external customers across multiple countries and regions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by finding opportunities to optimize AR processes, increase efficiency, and support global standardization
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls while supporting the implementation of standardized and scalable processes

This is a 1-year parental cover position. The role is based in Monterrey. No relocation assistance is provided for this position.

The Accounts Receivable (AR) department supports the LEGO Group through consistent, high-quality, and customer-focused execution of AR processes and partner management. By delivering operational excellence, the team enables Business Service Operations (BSO) to create significant value across the organization!

Do you have what it takes?
  • Proven experience within Finance and Accounts Receivable or similar role
  • Experience working in a Shared Service Center environment with a focus on process excellence and continuous improvement is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused attitude
  • Strong collaboration and partner management skills, with the ability to build trust across functions and geographies
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Advanced English language skills and professional Spanish language skills
