ABB busca un/a HSE Specialist para su planta en Apodaca, N.L., México. El rol se centra en mejorar la seguridad, la salud y el medio ambiente, aplicando conocimientos avanzados de HSE y promoviendo buenas prácticas en toda la cadena de valor ABB.

Se requiere experiencia en entornos de manufactura, auditoría ISO 45001/14001 y manejo de Power BI/Power Apps. Idioma inglés avanzado y disponibilidad para turno completo en sitio.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree plus relevant HSE experience in manufacturing environments.
• 4+ años de experiencia en roles similares como HSE Specialist.
• Conocimiento de ISO 45001 y 14001; auditoría interna deseable.
• Conocimiento de regulaciones STPS y PASST.
• Nivel avanzado de inglés.

Responsabilidades

• Reportar incidentes de HSE a la dirección y a las partes interesadas y tomar acciones.
• Facilitar e investigar incidentes para aprender a mitigar riesgos.
• Proporcionar feedback a la dirección y a los empleados sobre lecciones aprendidas y buenas prácticas.
• Apoyar y promover cambios conductuales mediante programas de mejora de rendimiento a nivel departamental.

Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

The Work Model For The Role Is

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.


• Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.


• Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.


• Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.

Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainable Development Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.


• 4+ years of experience in similar roles as HSE Specialist (Safety).


• Availability for work Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 7 PM - Rest days from Monday to Thursday.


• Experience in manufacturing environment.


• Lead or internal auditor for ISO 45001 & 14001.


• Plus knowledge of ergonomic issues.


• Federal regulatory knowledge (STPS, PASST).


• Experience in Power BI & Power Apps.


• Advanced English level.
