ABB in Juarez seeks an HSE Specialist to strengthen Health, Safety, and Environment performance. You will apply in-depth HSE knowledge to support risk management and foster a high-performance culture throughout the ABB value chain.

You will implement ISO certification requirements, develop procedures, and coordinate audits. Strong communication, problem solving, and Fluent English are essential to succeed in this role.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, chemical, biological or sustainability Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English is required and strong communication skills are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain compliance with ISO certification requirements.
• Develop, document, and improve procedures and management system processes.
• Support planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external audits.
• Monitor non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Identify and track continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and efficiency.
• Promote awareness of HSE regulations, policies, and programs across the organization.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Juarez.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Implement and maintain compliance with applicable ISO certification requirements.
• Develop, implement, and document procedures, work instructions, and management system processes.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external audits.
• Monitor and follow up on non-conformities and audit findings, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Identify, implement, and track continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Promote awareness and understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, policies, and programs throughout the organization.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial, chemical, biological or sustainability Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 140001, ISO 450001 and/or ISO 50001 standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and change management skills.
