ABB in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, Mexico is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the local manufacturing line, drive performance, and ensure safety and quality. You will coordinate resources, monitor KPIs, and partner with quality and HR to develop teams.

The role requires a engineering degree, 4+ years supervising production, willingness to work 12-hour Fri–Sun shifts, and proficiency with SAP, Power BI, and MS Office. Intermediate English is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electrical automation engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) & Resting from Monday to Thursday.

• Ensures execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets; monitors KPIs and takes corrective actions.
• Identifies deficiencies in production, proposes improvements, and oversees implementation of actions.
• Manages resolution of critical product or equipment issues with internal teams.
• Ensures area is organized, staffed, skilled and directed; guides and develops subordinates.
• Works with quality and HSE teams to ensure compliance of hourly employees with criteria.

Quality Specialist

Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Organizes and allocates resources to effectively and efficiently meet line production targets. Responds to resource issues as necessary. Leads capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line.
• Ensures execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines. Monitors daily operational performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implements corrective actions when required.
• Identifies deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities, and oversees implementation of actions to improve production performance.
• Manages the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
• Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
• Works with the quality and HSE team to ensure compliance of the hourly employees to the quality and safety criteria defined for the product.

Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electrical automation engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in team development and production line assignment.
• Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) & Resting from Monday to Thursday.
• Experience working in electrical companies is a plus.
• Experience in people management, conflict resolution, and development plans.
• Continuous improvement tools knowledge are a plus (Green Belt certification is a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Power BI is a plus.
• Experience leading a medium-sized team (20+ people) is a plus.
• Intermediate English.
