ABB in Mexico is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure products meet specifications through testing and data analysis. You will conduct test protocols in incoming, manufacturing, and final inspection stages, support supplier and production quality activities, and promote a culture of quality and integrity across the team.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electro-mechanical/Control automation engineering, have 1+ year testing experience, basic lean tools knowledge,

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year experience in electrical testing and relay/PLC setting.
• Lean manufacturing tools knowledge (8Ds, RCA, Ishikawa).
• Electric safety knowledge.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct test protocols to ensure products meet requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality.
• Support quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering.
• Execute and assist quality-related training, promoting quality and integrity in all actions with a focus on results.
• Collect, record, and evaluate data per ABB specifications and applicable standards.

This position reports to: Quality Control Specialist

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Conducting test protocols, as assigned, to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T.) as applicable.
• Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable in the local organization.
• Executing and assisting specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.
• Collecting, recording, and evaluating data to be interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable national and/or global standards while maintaining a high level of integrity

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, Control Automation, Electronic or mechatronic Engineering required
• 1+ Year experience in Electrical testing and Setting of relays or PLC
• Lean Manufacturing tools basic knowledge (8Ds, RCA, Ishikawa)
• Electric Safety basic knowledge
• Advanced english
