Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Mexico seeks a Safety & Environmental specialist to develop and deliver trainings, ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and IATF 16949, and drive the EHS program across the site.

You will lead audits, maintain HSE documentation, monitor KPIs, and report outcomes to leadership, with a chemical/industrial background and at least 3 years' experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Educational background in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Environmental fields with chemical background.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and IATF 16949.
• Advanced English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform safety & Environmental trainings
• Ensure compliance with Safety & Environmental legislation and other requirements (including civil protection, etc.)
• Safety control and risks management, aspects and impacts, life cycle (ISO 45001, ISO 14004, 50001 and other management systems adopted by VC)
• Implement, maintain, improve and lead the safety & environmental system
• Develop and update documentation for HSE
• Attend and support external, legal and internal audits
• Report actions, results of Safety & environment in the area and follow up/monitoring of Safety and environmental KPI
