Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking an HSE Engineer in Queretaro to develop and implement safety and environmental programs within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on compliance with Mexico laws and ISO standards while driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

The ideal candidate holds a chemical or related engineering degree, has at least 3 years in HSE, and demonstrates strong English proficiency plus familiarity with automotive quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental or a related field with a chemical background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and IATF 16949.
• Legal and regulatory compliance experience for Mexico safety/environment.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver safety & environmental trainings.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental legislation and other requirements.
• Manage safety risks and life cycle aspects (ISO standards).
• Implement, maintain, and lead the HSE system.
• Prepare and update HSE documentation; support audits and KPI reporting.
