Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) is seeking an HR Manager to lead the HR department and drive improvements in people management and organizational processes. You will plan, coordinate and oversee recruitment, payroll and benefits while ensuring policy compliance across the company.

The role requires at least 3 years in management and strong communication skills to engage with diverse teams and employer partners. Fluency in English is essential for cross‑functional collaboration.

Formación

Summary

Manage human resources. Promotes a disciplined operating culture and develops improvement strategies to support objectives. Work transversally to plan, execute and maintain improvements in business processes.

Key responsibilities and main activities
  • Promote Safety, Health and Hygiene at Work as well as everything related to the environment.
  • Coordinates all motivational events in order to maintain a good work environment.
  • Support for the analysis of Competence of the staff
  • IATF 16949 System Support
  • Verification of compliance with the organization's HR objectives
  • Implement organizational policies, programs, and campaigns.
  • Provide advice and training on HR policies, procedures and practices: Participate in meetings with administrative staff, guide the various managers of the company in HR matters, such as labor relations, benefits and services, among others. To guide the HR staff in the planning and budgeting for the programs of this department.
  • Supervise that the records, reports and other documentation pertinent to the area are kept: Supervise that the files are updated and that they are properly safeguarded to guarantee their confidentiality. Ensure that policies, procedures, and programs are subject to the goals of the organization and that they conform to professional and legal standards.
  • Develop, analyze, implement/update, and review the company's policies, approaches, and procedures, such as the budget to be allocated for payroll, compensation program, and performance evaluation, among others, as well as ways to improve them
  • Map out actions to foster employee engagement and develop retention strategies
  • Oversee the hiring process: Develop effective strategies to manage the new hire process. Manage an orientation and counseling program for new employees.
  • Follow-up to the recruitment process: Implement methods or procedures for the definition of strategies aimed at the development and attraction of human talent, in addition to ensuring that they meet the current and future needs of the company.
  • Manage and recommend procedures for initiatives pertinent to student recruitment, as well as establish a strategy based on the needs of the area, organize visits to universities and recruitment events, such as job fairs.
  • Be the contact with employment agencies and attend events to publicize the company or organization. Create and publish job postings. Interview candidates.
  • Follow-up on complaints or claims, as well as the file of each employee: Supervise the process of resolving complaints or claims.
  • Prepare reports to reflect staff turnover, absences, among others. Follow up on operational tasks, such as the company's anniversary manage disciplinary actions, giving advice and recommendations in order to improve performance or execute the termination of the employment relationship.
  • Follow-up to staff exit interviews, implement strategies to ensure that the transition of employees is carried out in the best possible way within the company.
  • Manage payroll and compensation or benefits processes: Manage benefit plans to ensure that they correspond to the granting of recognition for good performance.
  • Coordinate and manage claims or complaints for rest and guarantee, if applicable, the effective and timely application of a program for the reinstatement of the worker to his or her duties.
  • Guarantee an adequate salary or remuneration per worker. Identify opportunities for optimizing processes relevant to payroll, while ensuring due compliance with applicable legislation. Negotiate the terms of collective agreements.
  • Oversee the organization and coordination of internal events, whether recreational or training

  • English Proficiency: High
  • You must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues throughout the organization. Ability to generate reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to employee questions.
